Design Research of Algorithm Ethic

2 Weeks, Individual Work
JavaScript, three.js, Html, CSS, Rhino
In our modern world, algorithms have become pervasive, guiding users and designers in many of their decisions. These algorithms are responsible for interpreting vast amounts of data, often with significant consequences. This project opens a discussion on the ethics of algorithmic decision-making, arguing that the automation of such processes may pose severe threats to our democratic principles. We also explore how recommender systems can undermine user autonomy by creating filter bubbles.

To better understand these issues, we've designed an interactive space that visualizes the ways in which recommendation systems and algorithms shape user behavior. Join us as we delve into the complexities of algorithm ethics and consider their impact on society.
